The Assaulted Women's Helpline hosted our fourth annual "Celebrate the Women in Your Life" fundraising dinner and silent auction on April 27^th, 2007 at the Four Seasons Hotel. New friends and old enjoyed dinner, a huge silent auction, chair massages from Massage Time in our Pampering Zone, a gift bag of surprises and prizes galore. The highlight of the evening was a stunning performance from songstress Amanda Martinez as well as a colourful performance by the Folklorcio Filipino dance company.

Together we celebrated the courage of the more than 49,000 women that call the crisis line annually. We also celebrated the many important women in our lives: mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, friends, coworkers . and ourselves. Ticket and auction proceeds went to support the work done by the Assaulted Women's Helpline and OAITH.

Thanks to our guests, sponsors, donors and amazing team of volunteers, our event exceeded all expectations, raising 44% more than 2006!
