Training, Resource & Outreach

The Training, Resource & Outreach Program: Our Workshops

  • Ever been assaulted?
  • Witnessed an assault?
  • Witnessed any type of harassment?
  • Had a co-worker disclose they are being abused?
  • Ever had discussions about abuse?

Our training team can teach your organization the skills to identify and address violence against women, wherever it occurs.

Our group workshops are designed to be interactive, participatory and proactive. The benefits of this type of training are practical skills for understanding and dealing with abuse and improved services to your clients.

With our workplace (.PDF) and non-profit sector (.PDF) training programs, we have trained Boards of Directors, and Executive Directors, administrators, doctors, lawyers, therapists, educators, case managers, nurses and front line workers.

We can adapt any training workshop to suit your particular organizational needs.

We are consultants to unions, social service agencies, schools and small businesses. There is a fee for this service - sliding scale is available. All revenues go back to supporting our crisis line service and helping women across the province. For more information, contact the Training, Resource & Outreach Department at (416) 364-4144 x223.
